Unsibo
SIBO Daily Guide

“Most people working through SIBO are tracking it in a calorie app that never heard of meal spacing or a breath test. We kept meeting people who felt unseen by their own tools, so we built the daily guide the condition never had, from the 4 to 5 hour meal rhythm to a journal they can hand their gastroenterologist.”

For a condition this common, SIBO is strangely invisible. Irritable bowel syndrome affects roughly 1 in 10 people worldwide, and a large share of those cases may be small intestinal bacterial overgrowth carrying the IBS label. Studies using breath testing have found SIBO in anywhere from a third to as many as 3 in 4 people diagnosed with IBS. Yet the people living it are often told it is in their head, sent home from 15 minute appointments with vague advice, and left to manage with the same calorie counters and streak trackers as everyone else. The shelves were full of static FODMAP food lists and general symptom diaries. Nothing was built for the SIBO day to day.
SIBO does not behave like something you can capture in a food diary. It runs on meal spacing, the 4 to 5 hour rhythm a calorie app quietly works against. Its diet is a 3 phase path where many people give up at Reintroduction, the exact moment a fixed list stops helping. Its symptoms feel random until weeks of small notes finally line up. And by some estimates close to half of cases return within a year, a window almost no product follows you into. We scoped Unsibo around that daily reality rather than the clinical chart. The job is to help people see the patterns in what they eat and how they feel, recognize the triggers behind their flares, and manage their symptoms day to day.
We built Unsibo around 4 small surfaces a person can still face on a bad day. A quiet countdown ring keeps the meal rhythm visible without alarms or streak pressure. A food guide rates 350+ foods as safe, moderate, or high FODMAP, each one drawn as its own icon, 357 in total, and learns each person's tolerance as their entries build. A timeline turns meals, symptoms, and bowel patterns into plain language triggers, the worst flares clustering a few hours after a particular food. 6 guided programs carry someone through the whole journey, from the 3 FODMAP phases of Elimination, Reintroduction, and Personalization to a low-fermentation reset, a gut-brain toolkit, and a track tuned to their breath-test type. A library of voice-guided exercises and a recipe collection round it out for the harder days. And a clean export, My Digestive Journal, hands a gastroenterologist 30 days of real history instead of guesswork.
We designed and built Unsibo end to end. The strategy, the careful health-data and privacy work, the consumer brand, the marketing site, and the app itself on iPhone and Android. It is live now, and the conviction behind it is simple: a companion built specifically for the SIBO journey, aimed at a market the size of a major chronic condition that every existing app had quietly walked past.
