Forma
“I had been doing pilates for years but finding an open reformer class in my city was harder than it should be. There was no single platform to compare schedules, availability, or pricing across studios. I knew there had to be one place to search and book all of them. Nobody had built it, so I asked Norde to. The app reached 2,400 users in 90 days and now studios are reaching out to be listed.”
Mia L.
Founder, Forma
Mia was a pilates enthusiast in Brooklyn who could never find an open reformer class without checking three different studio apps. Each had its own schedule, its own class names, and its own payment system. She was not a studio owner. She was a frustrated customer. She knew every pilates person in her city had the same problem, and no one was building the solution. So she decided to build it herself.
The Plan phase defined Forma as a pilates discovery and booking platform where studios list their classes and users find what is available near them. Search by location, filter by class type (reformer, mat, tower, megaformer), see real-time availability, compare pricing, and book directly. Studio owners manage their own listings, schedules, and instructor profiles.
We built Forma in 28 days. A map-based explore screen showing available classes nearby with real-time spot counts. Studio profiles with schedules, instructor bios, and class-level reviews. A unified booking flow with Stripe so users can book and pay across any studio in one place. A personal dashboard tracking classes, streaks, and favorite studios.
Mia launched in a single neighborhood with 14 partner studios. Word spread quickly through the local pilates community. Within 90 days Forma had 2,400 active users, and studios that were not yet listed started reaching out to be added. The waitlist for new city launches is growing weekly.
