Senior Product Designer
Own the design of the apps and websites Norde builds for founders, from first concept to polished, launch-ready screens, working closely with a project manager and the engineers who build your work.
Norde is an app studio for founders. We partner with entrepreneurs to turn early-stage ideas into real, market-ready products, for a fixed price. The work moves fast and stays hands-on: ship something real, learn from real users, and keep improving it.
As our Senior Product Designer, you will own product design end to end, from early research and wireframes to polished, high-fidelity interfaces and prototypes for the web and mobile apps we build. You will work closely with a project manager and our engineers, shape how each product looks and feels, and help raise the design bar across everything we ship. This is a full-time, fully remote role, open to candidates anywhere with a few hours of daily overlap with the team.
What you would do
- Own product design end to end: research, user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and interactive prototypes
- Design web and mobile products that are clean, intuitive, and a pleasure to use
- Turn rough ideas and requirements into clear, buildable designs, and see them through with engineers during the build
- Build and maintain design systems and reusable components so each project starts stronger than the last
- Help set the design direction at Norde and keep the quality bar high across every product we ship
- Use real user feedback after launch to refine and improve what shipped
What we are looking for
- 5+ years of product design experience, with a portfolio of web and mobile products you have shipped
- Expert with Figma, from early wireframes to production-ready UI and design systems
- A strong foundation in interaction design, visual design, and usability, with a sharp eye for detail
- You can take a product from a rough idea to a clear, buildable design and explain the thinking behind it
- Comfortable working closely with engineers and shipping real products, not just static mockups
- A clear communicator who works well in a small, fully remote team
Helpful, not required
- Experience designing at a studio, agency, or startup, shipping products back to back
- Comfort with prototyping, motion, or light front-end (HTML and CSS) to communicate intent
- Experience with AI-assisted design and prototyping tools such as v0
- Hands-on experience running user research and usability testing
