Norde is an app studio for founders. We partner with entrepreneurs to turn early-stage ideas into real, market-ready products, for a fixed price. The work moves fast and stays hands-on: ship something real, learn from real users, and keep improving it.

As our Senior React Native Engineer, you will own mobile development end to end, from the Figma designs to a live release on the App Store and Google Play. You will work closely with a project manager, a designer, and other engineers, set the technical direction for each build, and stay involved after launch to keep apps fast, stable, and improving. This is a full-time, fully remote role, open to candidates anywhere with a few hours of daily overlap with the team.

What you would do

  • Build, test, and ship cross-platform iOS and Android apps with React Native and TypeScript
  • Own features end to end, from architecture and implementation to release on the App Store and Google Play
  • Translate Figma designs into clean, responsive, pixel-accurate interfaces
  • Make sure apps stay performant, secure, and reliable on both platforms
  • Collaborate with a project manager, a designer, and other engineers, and take part in code reviews
  • Set technical best practices and mentor other engineers as the team grows

What we are looking for

  • 5+ years building and shipping production mobile apps, with deep React Native and TypeScript experience
  • You have released apps to the App Store and Google Play yourself, from first commit to launch
  • Strong with JavaScript and TypeScript, modern state management, and integrating REST or GraphQL APIs
  • A solid grasp of mobile performance, debugging, and the app store release process
  • Comfortable using AI tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude to build faster without letting quality slip
  • A clear communicator who works well in a small, fully remote team

Helpful, not required

  • Expo, native modules, or native bridging experience
  • Comfortable on the backend with Supabase, Postgres, or Node
  • Experience at a studio, agency, or startup, shipping products back to back
  • An eye for design and motion, so your builds feel as good as they look
